Busy Week

I haven't been on here in a few days. We have been super busy at school and I am also getting my ESOL Endorsement online so I have had lots of work to do. We have been studying penguins this week and using ideas from other teacher blogs we did a cutesy chart.

We also went out into the hall and pretended to be Emperor Penguin daddies and try to waddle with an egg on the top of our feet. My kiddos had such fun with this. One of my students had a plan, he was going to curl up his toes to see if the egg would stay and believe it or not, he waddled farther than any of us, but he still didn't get far.

Here is one of the anchor charts that I have in my classroom. I Love Anchor Charts!! My students  refer to them often when working.

We also had the 100th day of school this past Thursday!! I can't believe we have been at school 100 days!!
We did a fun drawing of what we look like now and what we would look like in 100 years. Obviously some of my students didn't think they would be doing very well in 100 years!!  Too Funny!!

I have created a new unit for TeachersPayTeachers. It is Free!! A mini unit about bugs.
It contains an ABC order page, an adding and subtraction page and a label the fly page. ( I did the fly page because my reading story this week is about a fly.)  Just click on the pic!
