New template

Well as you can see, there is no new template for my blog!! I wanted to update it just a bit by giving it a new template design, but Oh My Gosh!! I made such a mess of my blog and I couldn't get it back like I had it before!! I bet I spent 2 hours trying to figure it out, until I finally got it back like I had it!! Speaking of messes, do you have any students in your room that has a messy desk like this one!!

I kept seeing crayon shavings "OOZING" out of this desk all day, but did not get a chance to have the student clean it out. When school was over, I looked inside and could not stand the mess anymore!! You can be sure this student will get a lesson on how to keep the desk and work area clean when they get to school on Monday.  No wonder they couldn't find the glue!!!

  4. I have desks that look that bad and worse! I have been known to dump every desk that is not neat so the children have to come in and clean up first thing! I think I'll wait until recess time on Monday after our Spring Break, walk around and look, and turn up the ones that are messy! Do you think that will make believers out of them? ;)

  6. I hate desks...especially with 1st graders. 90% of them can't keep track of their things in a desk. It's so frustrating. Then they shove uneaten snack in there...their neighbor's crayons...their 'lost' library book...and so on. So as soon as I could wrangle them, I got tables again! So much nicer...and neater!
