It is Fall and a FREEBIE!

 Oh my gosh!! Can you say SLACKER?!! I have meant to blog before now, but have just not gotten around to it!

I have been enjoying the beautiful fall weather in the North Georgia mountains! My husband and I went to one of the local apple houses on Sunday and bought a bag of apples, ate some scrumptious homemade chicken and dumplings, and then had a fresh made apple pie!! Needless to say I was stuffed by the time we left!

I have to tell you (if I haven't already) that fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I love to see all the leaves change into the beautiful reds, yellows, and orange.

I also love the cool temps because I love to wear sweatshirts and jeans. I am all about comfort and jeans with a cozy sweatshirt is SO comfortable.

I have also just posted a new book study and activities unit to go with the book Minnie and Moo Meet Frankenswine's Monster.
 It is a cute story of 2 cows named Minnie and Moo that think they are meeting Frankenswine's Monster. I think 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders would love the story.
The unit covers many of the Common Core Standards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade.
