14 Days left!!

I cannot believe that we only have 14 days of school left!! Where has the year gone?!! We have been working hard all year and we are all ready for a rest. I must admit that I will so miss my kiddos when they leave me! They have been an awesome group this year!  I am so proud of everyone of them.
   Thought I would share another pic of my classroom with one of my pigs. This is a soft pillow pig one of my colleagues gave me a couple of years ago. It is still in good shape and my kids love to sit in the reading station and read to the pig. Sometimes they just like to cuddle him!!

  Isn't he CUTE!! I am working on a new TpT unit for Back To School! Will let you know when it is finished!

Finally made it back and 24 Hour TpT sale!!

Finally after being very sick for three weeks, I have made it back to school. I am so happy to be back with my friends, co-workers, and my kiddos!! I really missed everyone so much!! I took a few pics in my class today of some of the things that I have made in the past. Days of the week and months of the year with a pig theme. I plan on sprucing these up a bit for next year. Already thinking about next year!! Can you believe it!! Oh the mind of a teacher!!

 I hope to do more pig items for my class next year. Guess you know what I will be doing this summer!!

YeeHaw for Adverbs!!

I can't believe my Spring Break is coming to an end, but alas it is true. Back to my kiddos tomorrow. I haven't seen them in 2 weeks because I was very sick the week before Spring Break and did not even get to go to school. I have missed them!! Gotta get back to some teaching!! I have posted another unit to TpT! This one is YeeHaw for Adverbs!! It has 6 activities to use as centers, small groups, or independent work. It can also be used as a needs based lesson or with a document camera it can be a whole group activitiy. Check it out here!

 This is not all of the activities, just a few. Great way to introduce adverbs and it covers Common Core Standards for 2nd Grade in Language Arts!! Remember 2nd grade has to teach adverbs next year!!
